模板是很传统的“婚礼葬礼喜剧”，保持着英式喜剧特有的幽默。片尾字幕的致谢确实让人能感觉到导演想要传递的那种真爱永不死的思想(是那种某个周末窝在家里和对象一起在流媒体的时候观看，看完之后接吻的电影，可以当成某种cliche的rom-com)不过就我个人而言，我是个悲观现实主义者，这部我愿意和《乌鸦》并列讨论，"真爱永不死"的前提是，其中一个“真爱”死了。
